Conservana Spices
A production facility exploring ecological materials through rammed earth architecture.
Conservana Spices is a built production facility designed for the Conservana Spices brand. The project supports spice production activities, including vanilla, while positioning architecture as part of a broader exploration into resilient and ecologically responsible building practices.
The design investigates rammed earth construction as a primary architectural feature, using compacted layers of locally sourced soils to form the building walls. This approach reduces dependency on industrial materials while demonstrating the potential of earth-based construction as a durable and climate-responsive solution.
Through material experimentation and architectural restraint, the project reflects an interest in resilience and long-term adaptability. Conservana Spices presents a built example of how ecological material exploration can be integrated into functional production facilities, allowing architecture to quietly support both operational needs and future-oriented environmental thinking.
